Will start doing abit more smaller dev logs.
So after the last update, I feel like can start focus on the NPCs abit more. NPCs walking around randomly doesn't look good. Kinda weird. So I start looking add implementing some stuff for npc to do (Beside from going home to sleep at night).
So first up, start expermenting with making a market. Initial thought was to create something like an actual food/fruit market with different stores that npc can sell stuff. Play around and added something like this XD

Looks weird XD. And I also thought that what is there for NPCs to sell? At the moment there really isn't anything. Like if they sell fruits, I need to make all kind of fruits for different stores and there need some variety.
It was then it trigger an idea. What if different NPCs, if they have excessive items, they can go pick a store front and sell their item like a second hand store? Just like a real life market. So this could be extra food that they have, to weapons that they might pickup/loot off somewhere and decided that they don't need it. Why don't sell it and earn some gold? Other jobs roles npc like hunters or mercenary will benefit from it.
Maybe alchemist will go purchase the herbs, transform into potions and sell again. Then Hunter will go puchase from alchemists so when they go hunter they will have health potions to use.
For this to happen, I need to implement couple of things:
First, need to have a inventory system where NPCs actually store and have the item.
Second, there must be stuff to do for NPCs to actually get that item. (I am thinking for now, maybe flowers and herbs that spawn randomly that NPCs can pickup, so they have item to sell. Maybe spawn some randon weapons as well.
Thirdly, NPCs will decide to go to the store and other NPCs will go around and browse the store.
Fun time, lots to implement.
