Pre-Update 8 - Devlog 3 - Fences, Herbalist and Mushrooms

Quick short update as I want to focus on making the game.
Last weekend was public holiday and long weekend here so took a break. Also was abit overwhelm as there are too many different parts of the game that I can work on now but can't decide on which part to focus on.
Little bit fresh now have a couple of ideas.
Also done a couple of new stuffs.
Added fences around the main area.
This way NPCs will actually have some directions and fences created navigation paths for NPCs to follow along. Rather than just walking randomly which looks weird.


Also added a new type of NPC Job Role (Herbalist). Herbalist NPC will focus on going to the wild outskirt area to gather herbs materials.
Once they pick up enough, they might go back to the town center to sell in the market store.
This will allow me to link it with the second hand market stall that I was doing last week. As well as linking with next job role Alchemist who will purchse the herbs items to create potions. Update 8 will probably focus on those 2 NPC type.
Also in the future allow more dynamic contents such as engage against wild beasts/bandits and guard/patrols that regually roam the area for protection. As well as hire guards for a mecenary system. Lot of cool stuff can do.
And finally start doing the logic to spawn wild plants around the outskirt area.
Started with mushrooms at the moment. Got the spawn working. Next, will need to work on the logic for Herbalist NPC to look and detect the mushrooms and then pickup and add to inventory.

Extra Note: Might start and attempt to sync some random dev logs with Twitter X account. Since there is a limitation with wix addon, might try it out first and see if I will hit the monthly limit.
