Update 0.11.0.3.1 - Devlog 1

Happy new year everyone!


Exciting time ahead on 2025 with lot of stuff I plan on doing this year!

I think I will try break up the devlogs and progress update a bit see how this work out.


Sometime, I feel like just want to work on the game instead of spend time on the devlogs but then I don't want it to be too quiet. Another thing is that I been posting most devlogs on https://x.com/LivingWorldProj as well but I feel like I don't want to spam too much if its not intesting, so will start doing cherry pick posts. But all other posts and updates will be on my website.


Without ranting on too much, here are what I am currently working on the last 2 weeks:


  1. New Initial Ragdoll System - Ragdoll Animator 2 by FImpossible Creations. (Now Characters can have collision, this will form the basis for future cool physics effects like knock backs!)


  2. Animation blending System (Also form a basis for lot of future implementation, currently allow me to fix the npc head tilt down issue.)

  3. Leg Animator - Also by FImpossible Creations. This one is very cool as it creates more smooth leg movements animations using physic.

    Still need quite a bit of tweaks, but I think this will do for now. Will slowly tweak them as I start implementing. Been watching some other fellow indie developer combat system got me very excited to exeriment with a few as well. Can see alot of very cool stuff other devs are doing.
