Update 0.15.0 - Devlog 3 - Raging Storm!


Little bit of a longer showcase video for this one. Showcasing changing weather conditions;

  • Calm Sunny day - You can see grass and tree only have a slight sway movement since there isn't much wind happening. There's actually also a dry overlay where leave can get dry and turn into dry brownish colour which isn't showcase on their video (still need some tweaks to get it right.)

  • Windy cloudy sky - You can see both tree and grass start swaying.

  • Light snow - small snow drop with light snow ground.

  • Heavy snow - Snow start to fill up including on the roof of buildings.

  • Blizzard snow - Heavy snow plus windy. Also tree leaves turn to white as they fill with snow.

  • Light rain - No wind but puddles start to form. (Think might want to adjust the puddles in the future)

  • Heavy rain - Windy with larger rain drops. (Want to make bigger puddles or make light rain no puddles in the future)

  • Thunderstorm - Heavy rain and thunder effect, there is also lighting effect which I wasn't able to capture in this show case (waiting for it to trigger at the right moment take too long).


Also had been trying to fix up the character pose, still think its bad. Need more tweaks.


Too much little things to fix, wanted to move on to some new npc logics next. Also notice the LOD trees didn't get the snow overlay. Have to fix..
