Update 10 - NPC Sleep, Lights and Loading Save

Progess since last update


Added:

  • NPC work schedule (Time range for when NPC to go work e.g 9-5pm)

  • Npc go home and sleep on bed at night, wake up in the morning (very basic for now)


Changes:

  • Disabled combat stance on left mouse click (Use sheathe toggle button instead), this is so that we don't accidently attach npc on left-click (attack button).


Optimised:

  • Added culling for Character hairs. (10 fps boost)


Fixes:

  • Fixed characterJob role not saving properly.

  • Fixed untarget lockon movement bug

  • Fixed player lockon triggering when there is no target

  • Reload save issues


Known Issues:

  • Forward Jump height very low, possibly another Follower Entity issue.

  • Character can't exit house after entered, damn bug. XD

  • Loading save, npc character clothe reset to default set.

  • Light issues (Very bright at night but dim in the afternoon).

Much smaller Progress Update for this one.


I was going to wait for a bit more contents before posting this but then when doing a video and screenshot for the devlog it doesn't looks too bad so I decided to add this as an progress update instead of a Devlog.


The idea currently is to get a whole day night cycle loop working along with loading save data. So that moving forward I can start to work on the different npc behaviours through out the day and night rather than starting a new save/game each time.


This way, I can slowly elimiate saving and loading bugs as well as allow NPCs to start doing different stuff for longer periods to find out and fixing other bugs.


Thought right now still quite alot of bugs to fix. Slowly, but surely progressing.
